(Exit...upstage left) It's time to move on to new personal, business, and creative goals. I admire the tenacity of our local theatre groups. Managing a non-profit theatre requires an actionable artistic vision, effective leadership, confidence, determination, stamina, talent, strategic marketing, a loyal audience, solid financial support (local/state/federal), and, sometimes...dumb luck! It can be a fragile balancing act.
Thanks to all the board members, supporters, actors, students, production crew, and volunteers who dedicated their time and effort since 1993!
The Body: Actors will learn basic physical exercises to warm-up the body. Students will explore movement through several creative exercises that develop an awareness of the body on stage. Proper deportment of the body including stage positions, gestures and stance will be taught to coincide with other important factors in character development.
